BMW has recently revealed the next generation of its famous coupe-crossover X6. It has been shown at Paris Auto Show in 2016. The concept of the vehicle remains the same – it is mid-sized premium SUV with curve shaped rear end, based on more standard looking X5.
Although the unveiling of the model won’t happen until October, there has been plenty of information released by BMW about the new model.
What to Choose
The X6 has only three main trim levels and two powertrain options. There are plenty of options and packages available for X6, but we review the standard equipment level for each trim option. You could order 2017 X6 in sDrive35i, xDrive 35i or xDrive 50i.
There is also special X6 M with a high-output turbocharged engine.
For 2017 model year, all trims gained $800 for a new design 19-inch rims.
As it traditional for BMW brand, all its cars have a rich equipment. X6 is not an exception – it has almost everything you might want in standard trim. Everything except all-wheel drive. Strangely, the initial trim has only rear-wheel drive – letter ‘s’ in sDrive is likely to stands for the sport.
Exterior wise, sDrive35i has LED foglights, xenon adaptive headlights; 19-inch alloy wheels; chromed exhaust pipe; heated power exterior mirrors (with power folding). What is interesting, metallic paint is available only for the extra charge.

Namely, xDrive50i comes with 4-zone climate with controls for rear passengers, and Sirius XM sattelite radio support.
