Chevrolet officially presented updated and restyled compact crossover 2017 Chevrolet Trax at the Auto Show in Chicago. Like its twin for European market, Opel Mokka X, Trax get a new update. Note that some people know Trax as Chevrolet Tracker.
Crossover sales started in the fall of 2016 in the United States and China. We know that the car is available in 3 trim levels: Premier, LT, LS.

The price for the 2017 Trax trim levels are following:

Updated 2017 Trax has the following dimensions:
length – 167.2 in;
width – 70.5 in;
height – 65.9 in;
Wheelbase – 100.5 in;
ground clearance (clearance) is 6.6 in.
The trunk is a decent amount to 12.8 cubic ft, increasing to 48.3 cu ft, when rear seats folded.
Styling Improvements in New Chevrolet Trax
The updated look is now most closely matches the brand and has a lack of levity of previous version exterior. Many elements of the update are taken as a basis in the nearest related Opel Mokka. Designers have tried to correct the appearance of the crossover, looking back at the Malibu, Cruze and Cobalt (one of the company’s latest innovations). 2017 Chevrolet Trax front fascia has become less cumbersome. Just looking at the car striking a new two-tier grille.
Headlights are also exposed to external changes, which is upgraded by LED daytime running lights. Fog lights are now set on the brutal front bumper, as well as increased air intake. In the rear Trax also received a cosmetic upgrade, it has modified taillights, brutal bumper and chrome trim strips on the trunk door, coupled with increased rear foglights. The wheels are now 18-inch, with a new design.

New Media System and Interior Tweaks
As for the interior, the designers also made it better. Now it visually looks much more aesthetic than its predecessor. 2017 Chevrolet Trax acquired an updated front panel, with standard set of instruments (tachometer, speedometer) and a large LCD-display for information.
SUV has a new powerful multimedia system «MyLink» with touch controls, Android Auto and Apple Car Play support. Additionally, the system supports a high-speed 4G internet providing by OnStar.

In this model, even in the basic version has a fairly rich level of equipment. 2017 Trax has the side and front airbags, modern audio system with 6 speakers and support for multiple formats of audio, air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, remote keyless entry system, hill climb assist. In higher trims there are 10 airbags, rear view camera, driver’s seat with electric adjustment, seat upholstery made of pure or mixed leather, electric heating of the front seats and exterior mirrors. Individual options are also available in a variety of security systems, cruise – control, a variety of electronic assistants.

Unfortunately, the engineers have not made any significant changes in the engine compartment of the 2017 Chevrolet Trax SUV. There is all as before, although its fellow Opel Mokka got upgraded turbocharged engine of 152 hp.Trax is also equipped with a choice of two turbo engines of Ecotec family. 140-horsepower four- cylinder engines:
1.4-liter Ecotec with the function of the start/stop;
1.8-liter naturally aspirated.
Both work with either 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic Hydra-Matic transmission.
The production version will be available with front-wheel drive, but can be ordered at the request of all-wheel drive option.
The system is equipped with an independent suspension – McPherson struts in front and semi-dependent with beam in rear. Brakes are disc and mounted on all 4 wheels.
