2017 Chevy Silverado Special Editions To Choose

We love a truck, and Chevrolet know that we love trucks. For 2017, they’ve introduced 7 Special Editions of the Silverado truck: Redline, Midnight, Rally, High Desert, Custom Sport, Realtree and Alaskan.

Some of the names are a giveaway – you just know that Redline is a little sporty, but what of the rest?
Truthfully, there aren’t many mechanical add-ons that make up the special editions, it’s mainly cosmetic trinkets that make the special editions, but then if you’re a hardcore Chevy fan, you’ll be wanting a one anyway.

Our favorite would be the Chevy Silverado ‘Special Ops’ version.

Chevrolet partnered with the Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida to help families of fallen, injured, and active duty military through their work with Trident House Charities Program.
This edition, featuring naval-inspired graphics with black accents and sport accessories, is available on Silverado 1500 WT Double Cab models. The exterior of the Special Ops edition features 20-inch black aluminum wheels, deep-tinted windows, all-terrain tires, and Sport Assist Steps. You’ll also get a bed-mounted Sport Bar with the Special Ops signature and a spray-in bedliner. It really does look mean and moody.

Perhaps closely followed by the ‘Black Out’. Although truthfully, they’re pretty similar; Black, black, and little extra black, large wheels and window tints. Even the more colorful versions are offered in … Black should you want it.

Yes, there are some additions such as the Z71 off road package, or updated suspension here and there, but don’t expect any mechanical updates as such.

Silverado Redline

The first ever Silverado Redline Edition sports red and black accents for a look that stands out in a crowd. Its urban-inspired design brings Silverado to a whole new level.

Silverado Midnight

Take on the night in the Silverado and Silverado HD Midnight Editions. With the Z71 Off-Road Package, these dependable trucks perform as aggressively as they look. Bold Black accents command attention, and features like off-road Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac off-road tires let you make your own rules.

Silverado High Desert

The High Desert Package combines refinement and sportiness while adding innovative capabilities to the Silverado lineup. An all-new lockable, water-resistant storage unit helps protect cargo from extreme elements, while Magnetic Ride Control — offered by Silverado for the first time — keeps your ride smooth even as road conditions change.

Silverado Rally

Strength. Reliability. Dependability. You get all that and more with the Silverado 1500 Rally 1 and Rally 2 Editions available in Black, Summit White, Red Hot and Silver Ice Metallic. Own the streets like a boss with Rally’s sporty, aggressive look, rally striping and black Chevy bowtie emblems.
