2017 GMC Yukon luxury SUV built according to all rules of shipbuilding


An updated version of the GMC Yukon SUV is expected to be released for 2017, there will be a standard and long version of the model, both are expected to be released with a raft of new equipment, in addition to larger sizes.

It is expected that the new versions will be on sale in the summer of 2017.

2017 GMC Yukon restyling

Built with the luxury of ship building in mind, the luxury SUV will measure about 18 feet in length, and will be nearly 7 foot tall. Under the gigantic hood will be a six-liter engine, and the new model will have an upgraded hydraulic power steering system, meaning that manoeuvring the vehicle will be easy. Buttons and switches in their many will be fitted to both dashboard and multifunction steering wheel.

There will be two additional colors available; White Frost Tricoat and Crimson Red Tintcoat, and all models will have the option of 22” rims.

These new versions are fitted with a 5.3 liter V8 engine, producing around 355 BHP, and prices are expected to be $48,000 for the standard length model and $50,500 for the XL version.

Further, the Yukon will be available in high-end versions, these will be called Denali. Added to the list of options is a 6.2 liter, 420 BHP V8 and a whole range of other options, the standard length version will be $65,000 and the XL could be yours for $67,000.

As an added accessory, the Yukon XL is available with an electric tailgate which opens when a sensor picks up a foot underneath the rear fender, it will also have a complex lighting system that can switch between low and high-beam automatically.

It will also have an electronic terrain system, meaning that the vehicle can be switched to suit different terrains, making the driving experience easier and better, more suited to the environment that it’s driving in.

Replacing the GMC Jimmy SUV, the Yukon is an aggressive looking vehicle, based upon the same platform as the Chevy Silverado pickup truck. It has been in production since 1992. Originally only available in three-door versions.
