2017 Honda Civic Type R redesign
Sources from Honda say that the Civic will be released in two different versions; a relatively sporty five-door hatchback and the two-door Type R version. The first Type R we saw at the 2015 New York Auto Show, and while they did have a version of the second one, it was only there as a concept car.

Thanks to the numerous photos that are on the internet, we can see that the engineers and designers have worked their magic on the new model. The front grille is quite an unusual shape and the new LED headlights fit perfectly with the look.
Although being a two-door, the doors on the Civic Type R are large and open to quite a wide angle, meaning that getting in to the car won’t be a problem – access is easy. The doors will also be coated in a special formulation that resists corrosion.
A small note must be made about the wheels of the Type R also, they were designed and manufactured as a collaboration between Honda and a specialist manufacturer, meaning that they are extremely lightweight but durable.
At the rear of the car, you’ll find a sports exhaust system with triple outlets, all going toward making the car looking as sporty as it feels.
