2017 Hyundai Sonata back to business class again


2015 saw the release of the 6th generation Sonata, it wasn’t a huge success, but the redesigned Hyundai is back to business, offering a high quality mid-size sedan.

The redesigned model is expected to be on sale at in the middle of 2017, the outgoing 2015 version won’t finish production until the end of 2016.

We think that the Sonata will be the lower spec version of the new Genesis, although no official photos or information has yet been released. Spy shots on the internet seem to show that the new Sonata will incorporate the latest styling features that seem to be the new style of Hyundai.

Prices for the new 2017 model are expected to remain static; the base model selling for $21,750 and the hybrid version coming in at $26,000.

If the rumors are to be believed, Hyundai are to incorporate lots of new technology into the latest Sonata; significantly improving the driving and ownership experience; the owner will be able to access more information, improve their driving and enjoy more comfort thanks to technology.

Some experts of the car industry, predict that the distinguishing feature of new generation car will be a perfect setup of all the electronics. It is expected that the car owner will now be available in more extended and more accurate information about his car.

Thanks to the spy shots on the internet, we expect the Sonata to have a reworked instrument panel, large media system (with touchscreen) and a high quality, comfortable interior.

Sources say that the power plant will remain the same; perhaps with the addition of a turbocharger, as used in the Hyundai Veloster. The car will be built upon the existing Sonata chassis, so we think that much of the technical and mechanical parts will be carried over from the old model.

We can also assume that the power plant will use the engine that is now used by car Veloster Turbo.

The new updated Hyundai Sonata 2017 will be available for sale in the first part of 2017. It is not expected to be completely redesigned, more likely to get a minor updates in exterior design, equipment list and engine range.
