The new business class mid-size sedan will be available for sale in the last quarter of 2016.

The pricing for a new model will remain the same, starting at around $35,000 for a basic trim level.

The most important change is hidden under the hood of a Japanese sedan. In the engine compartment now might have the new turbo VR30 engine with optimal power and torque, as well as low fuel consumption thanks to an innovative turbocharger with high performance, capable of short spin up to 220,000 rpm, and the electric motor installed in the gas distribution system.
The new 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo is available in two power versions (300 hp 295 ft lbs) and (400 hp 350 ft lbs). Gearbox is 7-speed automatic.
In the process of restyling, Infiniti specialists improved steering (Direct Adaptive Steering) system, providing a more natural stress on the steering wheel with clear feedback and changed tinctures and characteristics of the suspension, taking into account the increased power of the engines.
In addition to the powerful version with a 3.0-liter engine, the updated sedan is offered with familiar powerplants:
- Petrol four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (211 hp);
- Hybrid power plant (total power output of about 364 HP) with a 3.5-liter petrol V6 (302 hp) and an electric motor (67 hp);
For all versions of the updated sedan rear-wheel drive or the system of Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is available.
The most powerful sedan with 400-horsepower engine is called Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 and comes standard with unique and stylish 19-inch aluminum wheels.
