2017 Infiniti Q80 is an executive sedan – the future flagship of the brand.
As you may or may not know, Infiniti is the luxury brand of Nissan, just the same as Toyota has Lexus and Hyundai have Genesis.
Not that long ago, Infiniti produced a concept car for the Paris Auto Show, it was a car that looked almost futuristic, the kind of car that you may expect to see in a sci-fi movie.
At the time, no one expected Infiniti to actually put that model into production, people thought that it was just the usual “hey, aren’t we brilliant” type of concept car designed to bring the crowds to their stand.
However, it seems that Infiniti are indeed going to put that car in to production!
2017 Infiniti Q80 Release date
As you’d expect, Infiniti have not made any mention of the concept that is known as the Q80, but our sources tell us that we should hopefully see the 2017 Infiniti Q80 for sale toward the end of 2017.
2017 Infiniti Q80 release date: late 2017
2017 Infiniti Q80 Price
For something so futuristic, the price will be good … we think that the Q80 will start in the region of $60,000.
2017 Infiniti Q80 Redesign and changes
This is a brand new car, built from the concept that was shown a couple of years ago, there are no confirmed rumors or thoughts, but this is what we think we’ll see:
A luxury sports sedan, measuring up at 199.2” long, 79.1” wide and 52.8” tall with a fairly low ride height (perhaps adjustable). Rumors say that it will seat 7 people, but we don’t think that will be the case; the car is about luxury (and sports), fitting 7 people inside it would mean a very cramped interior – that isn’t luxury!

2017 Infiniti Q80 Interior
The interior should be very impressive, with a lot of new technology not yet seen. Styling wise, if Infiniti keep with the concept, expect to see beautifully sculpted seats, Heads Up Display, high quality leather and plenty of stylish accents in metal or wood.
2017 Infiniti Q80 Specs
It will be built on an aluminum chassis (lightweight) and be fitted with lightweight components – Infiniti want to maximize the mileage and economy with this vehicle, therefore, it needs to be light.
It will be fitted with a twin turbo 3.0 liter V6 hybrid which will feature what Infiniti are calling Direct Reaction Hybrid technology. Despite pumping out 500+ BHP, the hybrid power and lightweight should mean the Q80 reaches near to 40 MPG. That’s quite impressive.
Power will be sent to the front wheels as standard but with the ability to switch to all-wheel when needed, it will use a 9-speed auto transmission.
