Officially presented at Detroit in early 2016, QX60 hasn’t shocked or even amaze the audience – it is the same premium crossover like before, with light changes in appearance and in the technical part. To be exact, it means revised front end, better sound insulation, new settings for suspension and steering.
The start of sales is scheduled for summer 2016.

Minimal Cosmetic Changes
Changes in the design of the exterior body of the updated QX60 (crossover was previously known as the Infiniti JX) are minimal and affect only a cosmetic designers intervention to the front and rear.

On the renewed face of the Japanese SUV, there are a new false radiator grille, laced stylish mesh, modern bi-xenon headlamps with integrated ribbons of LED daytime running lights (optionally available full-LED headlights), a modified bumper with a more expressive air intakes and LED foglights, framed by stylish chrome brackets.
The back of the body in the process of updating received a larger antenna fin, another chrome insert on the trunk lid and bumper with bigger diffuser.
External dimensions of the Infiniti QX60 2017 body are 196.4 in long, 77.1 in wide, 68.5 in high, 114.1 in wheelbase, 7.3″ of the ground clearance.
According to preliminary information, the price of the updated 2017 Infiniti QX60 will not change compared to the pre-update model, and will be around $44,000 in the US.
Update: starting price is $44,095 up to $54,495.
The interior has not changed, and the manufacturer advertises a better sound and noise isolation of the cabin. It really doesn’t need to change something if the QX60 interior – it is one of the best in the class, and equipment base set promises a lot of options.
The base trim level has 6 airbags, ABS, ASR, ESP, Forward Emergency Braking system with the function of Pedestrian Detection; Forward Collision Warning and Backup Collision Intervention systems; Around View Monitor; with sensors to detect moving objects Moving Object Detection , power mirrors, opening the tailgate and sunroof, four-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, power and heated front seats, leather trim, multimedia system with 8-inch touch screen, premium Bose audio system.
Specifications of 2017 QX60 remain unchanged.
Fully independent suspension of the crossover gets new dampers and springs, electric power steering has added new features.

Under the hood, the crossover could have the gasoline V-shaped six-cylinder engine or a hybrid powerplant. The drive layout either the front or the full All-Wheel Drive. Thus, the four versions of the QX60 and QX60 AWD SUVs available in the US, including QX60 Hybrid and QX60 Hybrid AWD.
- Gasoline Infiniti QX60 with a 3.5-liter V6 (262 hp) with the CVT.
- Hybrid Infiniti QX60 Hybrid with the power plant, which consists of a gasoline 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 230 HP and an electric motor producing 20 horsepower (the total output is 250 hp) in tandem with the CVT.
