The base powerplant for the Infiniti QX70 – is 3.7-liter, 6-cylinder V-shaped engine that is able to deliver an impressive 333 hp of a maximum power. This engine accelerates the car up to the sixty in just 6.5 seconds. The top-end is a five-liter V8 gasoline engine, producing 390 hp. Acceleration to sixty in just 5.8 seconds – a great performance for a mid-size crossover.
The pride of the model has always been a system of “intelligent” all-wheel drive. Under ideal road conditions – moving forward on dry asphalt, the engine torque is transmitted to the rear wheels. But in some cases – for example, when the rear wheel slips, the system can “throw” some of the engine power to the front axle, thus increasing stability on the road.
As for transmission options, there is only one option avaialble – seven-speed shiftable automatic transmission with all-wheel drive.
