2017 Nissan GTR redesign

If you look at the photo of Nissan GTR 2017, we will see that there are no radical changes compared to predecessor. Moreover, the appearance is still remained the characteristic features of the first prototype of the future supercar. Not expected big surprises in the future.

In the case of the Nissan GTR is hard to find at least one body part, on which was not working experts in the field of aerodynamics. Everything plays a crucial role to achieve the desired downforce, to achieve perfect balance of the powerful motor and the resistance counter to the flow of air.

Before the official presentation of the next generation Nissan GTR which will held presumably in two years, today the fans of the model is haunted by the question, what is the engine placed under the hood of updated GTR. The fact that the engine of the new GTR will be hybrid, Nissan representatives officially confirmed early this year. Now Topgear with reference to Ben Bowlby reports that Nissan is seriously considering the possibility of installing three-liter hybrid V6 with direct fuel injection combined with an electric motor and the KERS system of kinetic energy recovery.

Racing GT-R LM Nismo with such a power plant has 750HP, 500 of which has a gasoline engine. It is unlikely that motor GT-R for the 2017 model year will be so powerful, however, the modern hybrid engine will allow to create not only a very fast, environmentally friendly, but also relatively economical sports car.

However, it was just a rumors. Actually, 2017 Nissan GTR will get improved engine from Nismo, the same 3,8L twin turbo V6, now producing 565 HP and 467 lb ft of torque.
