2017 Nissan Micra Is Compact But Spacious


One of the most mysterious mini-autos has already being unwrapped. Upcoming 2017 Nissan Micra will hit the market next year. Presumably in the first months. The company has officialy announced it this April in Paris.

The upcoming model inherits a lot from 2015 Geneva Motor Show Sway concept. The new body of the vehicle looks much longer and wider as well as being lower at the same time. The grille is equipped with headlamps which can be swept back. The vehicle is provided with distinctive shoulder lines which are a link between the hood and doors.

The rear part can be described as a sharp one. Its taillights are of arrow looking shape which looks pretty nice. The car can also boast about handles which are hidden. It is promised that the model will be released in a variety of vivid solid colours. The body is made with aerodynamic technologies as well.

Despite being of mini type Micra offers a spacious cabin. Some people already compare the upcoming model with Vauxhall Corsa in terms of interior space. The placement of the driving seat, pedals and steering wheel are made in a way more sporty.

The whole cabin is made with bearing in mind lower level of noise. The model includes numerous safety features which can be referred to as advance ones. One of them is autonomous braking. For the first time for Nissan sold in Europe this model includes Pedestrian Detection. Traffic sign recognition along with blind spot warning are also on board.

In comparison to previous experience new Micra offers sharper and smoother driving. It is made possible owing to upgraded chassis. The vehicle is equipped with Active Trace Control. The steering wheel is made sharer owing to use of electric power.

The car is offered with two engines. The first one is inherited from Renault. This is 0.9 litre powerplant with three cylinders. It uses turbo technologies. Another variant is four cylinder diesel unit which has 1.5 litres. Both of them are good for output of 89BHP. However, there are expectations of the third variant. This is 1.0 ltire engine which produces up to 75BHP. However, many fans expect even stronger versions as well. As for efficiency or performance data, there is no news yet.
