US Division of Subaru presented an updated 2017 model year version of the Forester crossover SUV. The car has received minor changes in appearance and equipment list.
In a exterior design appeared slightly different front fascia with a new bumper and headlights, improved rearlights, optional spoiler in body color, as well as several types of wheels, and a further embodiment of the color Sepia Bronze Metallic.
Forester Headlights can now switch between dipped and low beam, and follow the direction of turning – this feature is available in the top trim.
The list of interior changes came with thick door glass, improved noise insulation, the new multifunction steering wheel. In addition, active safety of Subaru EyeSight complex has improved camera with an enlarged viewing angle.
Among other things, in versions with two-liter turbo engine appeared Active Torque Vectoring system (transmits torque to the wheel that has more grip to the surface), known for models Subaru WRX and WRX STI. 2.5-liter turbocharged engine became more economical and now has fuel efficiency of 28 mpg in the combined cycle.
We add that we are talking about Forester versions for the US market – changes in equipment crossover in other parts of the world may be different.
