Things have changed since the first 4Runner was launched seven years ago. Most of the changes are mainly cosmetic. The new 2107 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is coming back with a set of updates.

The model goes classical with pearly white body. Another shade which you can choose is a greyish one which is closer to cement colour. The last variant you can obtain is bright red 4Runner which is always the centre of attention when in traffic.

To begin with, 2017 Toyota 4Runner Pro uses V6 engine of 4 litres which is naturally aspired. It’s the same one as previous generation had. It provides the model with 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. Even though this engine isn’t that powerful its reliability is high enough which is important for off-road experience. You can drive over any obstacle with such a unit. The engine is paired with 5-speed automatic transmission. 2017 4Runner incudes four-wheel-drive system as a standard one. In addition, this auto uses TRD Bilstein shocks. It drives on wheels of 17 inches and has upgraded front springs.

The camera to observe back perspective gives more opportunities as well.

All in all, 2017 4Runner is quite worth of its money owing to its specifications. Even though it uses not a very fuel efficient engine, this unit provides good opportunities to go off-road. The model is offered in a variety of trims which include SR5 Premium, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, and Limited. All of them have the same engine. This SUV has a size similar to Highlander but aims at off-road drivers mainly so it’s made with better handling.
