Regarding the fact updated TT has revealed only recently, there is no much changes in 2018 model year car. Actually there is only regarding trim levels – availability of a new package called S-line competition, which brings some features of “charged” TT S: brushed aluminum inserts in the interior, combined Alcantara/leather seats, D-shaped steering wheel, retuned suspension.

Technology package has received new premium multimedia from Bang & Olufsen; Interior package comes with Nappa leather seats.

In terms of modifications, the new extreme version of TT RS has revealed.

Exterior and interior features

The TT 2018 looks fabulous, just like any other TT coupe of the previous generations. is has a outstanding design, less familiar with the other Audi cars, except R8 supercar. Yet, it reminds Audi even if you torn off all badges – thanks to a big “shield” radiator grille.

The 2018 Audi TT interior is one of the best in class and overall – it may look simple, but it’s highly functional. Audi Virtual cockpit is the brilliant idea to combine infotainment system and gauge cluster. All information is handy, without any distracting factors.

The power of four

Like many new cars, the 2018 TT feautres four-cylinder turbocharged engine range. There are only two powertrain options though, based on the same 2-liter unit. The first engine produce 220 HP and 258 ft-lb of torque, the second is installed only in TT S version, forced to 292 HP and 280 ft-lb. Both engines are mated with 6-speed dual-clutch DSG gearbox. That’s a bit sad that such a driver’s car is not available with a old-school manual gearbox.

By the way, it is Audi, so don’t expect anything but AWD quattro system.

Fuel efficiency

As for compact sportscar, the 2018 Audi TT is rather fuel-efficient. going for 23 MPG for city and 30 MPG for highway driving, if you pick standard 220-HP car. More powerful TT S has the same 23 MPG in city but less efficient in highway, for just 27 MPG.

Good-packed

The Audi TT 2018 is well-equipped even in standard trim level – there are full LED lights, rearview camera, keyless entry and push-button start, Audi drive select, foldable rear seats, parking sensors. Advanced multimedia with Virtual cockpit and Bluetooth connectivity is also available as a standard. 18-inch rims are nice bonus to all this.

Options list is not wide at all – Nappa leather seats, premium Audio system mentioned above, navigation system with support of Android and iPhone smartphones.

Interesting fact – apart from blind spot monitoring system, you cannot find anything for safety – neither adaptive cruise control, nor automatic emergency braking system.
