2018 Porsche Cayenne redesign

Even though there is a camouflage on the spy photos of the upcoming Cayenne, we can conclude that the SUV design changes are not significant. You can probably talk about the evolutionary changes, rather than a revolutionary.

The new Cayenne will most likely get updated headlights, optional completely LED. The front bumper will get a new design, with integrated LED DRLs. In profile, it will look a little sportier – due to lower roofline in the rear, as well as a short rear overhang. In the rear, there will be a new, narrower rear lights. In general, the Cayenne will be more like a more compact Macan.

So far there are no data on the interior of the new SUV, but experts agree that we should expect a completely redesigned interior similar to Panamera in style. This means that instead of tons of buttons appear one big screen – the so-called media hub. The solution suggested itself for a long time, besides rivals have it for a long. This will make the interior more minimalist and cozy.

Steering wheel, air intakes, center console, front and rear seats will also get a new design.

2018 Porsche Cayenne specs

Through the use of a new lightweight platform, the Cayenne shed 220 pounds. This is clearly not hurt, because even in the base trim level with a V6 engine, the current generation of the SUV weighs more than 4450 pounds.

It is expected that power plants in 2018 Porsche Cayenne will remain unchanged. Perhaps they will be somewhat readjusted, or new options added, as is the case with the sedan. Thus, it expected at least 4 different engines.
