2018 Rolls-Royce Wraith Is Going To Be Facelifted

The most luxurious coupe in the world, namely Rolls-Royce Wraith, is likely to get a facelift for 2018 model year – latest spy shots hint the future appearance of two-door Rolls-Royce. Traditionally, the facelifted car will get the Series II designation.

Unlike the previous shots, with fully disguised Wraith, the new one reveals most of details of the updated car. Namely, the front fascia, headlights and famous monumental RR grille, inspired by the recent Dawn convertible, which is actually the same car, but with a foldable roof. The rear part seems to remain unchanged, but we expect a slight redesign for taillights filling.

As for the technical part, we don’t expect any changes at all. BMW-derived 6.6 V12 engine with double turbocharging is powerful enough (624 HP) to make heavy Wraith (5,200 lbs) accelerates pretty quick, just 4.4 seconds to sixty. The top speed is limited to standard 155 miles per hour. However, it is possible that the engine would be tweaked a bit to improve efficiency or get a couple of extra horses.

The release date of the Series II car is going to be in the early part of 2018, as the same year model. The price is likely to stay astronomically high: starting with $318,000 without taxes and any additional equipment.
