Tesla seem to be taking the world by storm.
The Model S has been perhaps one of the best selling full EV’s made to date, and now, Elon Musk wants to capitalize on that success and bring Electric Vehicles to the masses – the Model 3 is aimed to be low priced (not cheap – it certainly isn’t that) with a usable and practical range – gone are the days of sub 80 mile ranges and 24-hour charging periods.
Better yet, Elon Musk has promised to double the number of ‘Supercharger’ stations within the next year; these Superchargers are capable of giving an 80% charge in less than 30 minutes, free of charge.
2018 Tesla Model 3 Release date
Tesla have said that they aim to have the 2018 Tesla Model 3 in full production by the end of 2017, although going on their past releases, there is a high chance that the date could be delayed. Hopefully, everything will go to plan and we’ll see the new Model 3 before 2018.

2018 Tesla Model 3 Price
Part of the plan of Tesla is to bring full EV (Electric Vehicle) transport to the masses; gone are the sky-high pricing structures – the 2018 Tesla Model 3 has a list price of $35,000.
That is before any taxes are added, but equally, there are discounts available throughout the U.S., so you may even pay less than the list price.

2018 Tesla Model 3 Design
Of course, this is a brand new model, so it isn’t about changes, but let’s look at what we should be getting.
The Model 3 is capable of travelling 215 miles on a single charge, thanks to the Tesla ‘Supercharger’ stations, you can get 80% charged in less than 30 minutes. Putting that in MPG figures, Tesla say that it’s equivalent to 215 MPG; that’s some cheap motoring.
The 3 has a single piece glass roof, leading from the windshield to the rear, it really is quite stunning looking and of course, looks great from the inside out too. However, what this will mean in the sunnier parts of the U.S. remains to be seen – the a/c is going to be flat out trying to keep things cool.
2018 Tesla Model 3 Interior
Inside the cabin, we won’t see a traditional style dash / instrument cluster, but what we do have is a singular touchscreen that almost dominates the interior. This screen will take care of all the functions associated with the vehicle.
Fitted technology will be of high specification as well; expect to see such tech as hands-off highway cruising & lane changing, all within the $35,000 budget.
