New 2018 Toyota Tundra Caught Testing

By

In February, 2017 journalists have managed to shot a new 2018 Toyota Tundra while testing on public roads. The front end of the model is in disguise, that means the updated front end, which presumably would have some features of the TRD Sport modification – for instance, the grille has a very similar (possibly identical) pattern.

This likely would be a full facelift of the front end – means new hood, headlights, grille and front bumper. However, those changes wouldn’t radical for sure. It is not the full new generation of the truck, according to rumors, we could expect a whole new generation of the Tundra not early than in 2020.

We hope that Toyota work on Tundra won’t be limited to the body make up. The car, debuted back in 2006 and slightly refreshed in 2013, needs some technical changes, or at least tweaks. One thing very possible is the implementation of the 10-speed automatic used in some Lexus models.

We expect the debut of the refreshed Tundra sometime in 2017.
