In 2016 Audi will release the production version of the crossover Q1. This means that the second generation of Q3 needs to grow up. The European media have already seen the first information coming from Audi regarding the specifications of the future Audi Q3 2017.

Journalists from the German automobile magazines have published the first details about a new generation of crossover Audi Q3, which should appear in 2017.

The new Q3 will be shown at one of the European motor shows in 2017, although still under testing, it is unlikely to happen before the summer of 2017.

Prices are still unconfirmed, but it is doubtful that the Q3 will start at anything under $34,000.

Length of new generation Audi Q3 will increase from the previous 172.8” up to 175.1”, and the wheelbase from 102.3” to 104.3”. In addition, the trunk volume of the new Audi Q3 will increase by 1.2 cubic foot (from 12.5 to 13.7 cubic feet).

Officials behind the scenes of car industry say that Audi will continue to install 4-cylinder engines on the Q3. Their power output will range from 150 to 367 BHP. In the first case, this is a good urban option, the second is marketing. It is believed that there will also be an optional hybrid system with an overall power output 220 BHP.

We expected only minor update for 2017 Audi Q3. New compact crossover SUV will have updated front fascia with new radiator grille, and a few upgraded notes on the interior. The engine range will be the same and consist mainly of TFSI engines.
