The crown of the model lineup of Toyota in the North American market is the Avalon sedan, the car has undergone a number of upgrades and appeared before the audience at the motor show 2015 in Chicago. Among the changes are the retouched exterior, an upgraded suspension system and an extended list of additional equipment.
2017 Toyota Avalon Configurations
The Avalon is a full-size family sedan with a premium notes, so you might expect almost all necessary equipment even in a standard trim level. The further you go – the more you pay obviously, but also get quite a lot of toys dedicated to higher-level cars. It’s almost $10,000 which separate the entry and top trims, so there is a lot of changes. 2017 Avalon is available only with 3.5 V6 engine or with hybrid powertrain which has slightly different trims hierarchy.
2017 Toyota Avalon XLE
The standard trim has all set of equipment you expect from this class car, like full power accessories, plus extra more. XLE has leather-trimmed front seats with heating, rear view camera, ten airbags, keyless entry with remote trunk opening, Toyota safety package, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The entry level Avalon costs $33,250 MSRP.
2017 Toyota Avalon XLE plus
XLE plus matches up to the name like nothing else. There is only a tiny little plus in this trim level, and nothing else – auto dimming rear view mirror with Homelink system, which could open your garage or gates.
XLE started at $35,000 MSRP.
2017 Toyota Avalon XLE Premium
XLE premium features some interesting gadgets, such as Entune premium entertainment system with navigation and app install ability. Both driver seat and mirrors have memory function. The safety features list expanded by the addition of blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert systems.
This trim level starts at $36,450 MSRP.
2017 Toyota Avalon Touring
Touring trim adds just a few perks to the previous trim. It includes premium leather trimmed steering wheel with manual shifting pads and audio controls. As for exterior changes, there are new 18-inch rims plus LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights.
Touring configuration costs $37,650 MSRP.

Limited trim brings some higher class features to the Avalon. For instance, powered rear window shade, premium JBL audio system. 2017 Toyota Avalon Hybrid
Traditionally to Toyota, many of its vehicles get a hybrid modification. Avalon is not an exception – full-size sedan received powertrain consist of 2.5L I4 gasoline engine plus electic motor. The total output of the powertrain is 200 HP, aggregated with eCVT transmission. There are ECO and Sport modes available, as well as full EV mode. The hybrid version of Avalon is available only in three trim levels: Limited, XLE+ and XLE Premium.

Limited is a top-trim for hybrid version Avalaon, so there are lots of cool options, such as front heated and ventilated seats, three-zone climate control, power rear window shade, premium JBL sound system with integrated navigation.
2017 Toyota Avalon redesign
The exterior of the redesigned 2017 Avalon model has LED headlights and rear lights and new turn signals. The designers have redesigned the front grille and it now incorporates the central air intake and new fog lights. Further, the sedan sits on super chrome 17” wheels or 18” for the sportier models.
The 2017 Avalon is equipped with a v6 petrol engine and has an expanded list of equipment. Model designations are: Limited, XLE Premium and the Touring.

The 2017 model will be the fourth generation Avalon, the first one debuting in Spring 2012 at the New York motor show. Prices should start from $32,285.

2017 Toyota Avalon interior
The interior design hasn’t been updated on this model, although some trim elements such as wood have been introduced. The standard equipment of the sedan will feature a brand new EnTune Audio Plus ICE (In Car Entertainment) system, featuring satellite navigation on a 7” display screen. There will also be a QI wireless phone charging system.

2017 Toyota Avalon engine set
The engines fitted are the same as the previous models; V6 3.5 liter producing a maximum of 268 BHP, driving a 6 speed auto-box.
For the hybrid, the Avalon will be fitted with a 2.5 liter petrol engine, coupled to an electric motor, driving an ECVT gearbox. It will produce a maximum of 200 BHP.
