The SUV is equipped with a 630-horsepower twin-turbocharged V12 engine with a displacement of 6 liters. Unusual for standard G-Class long wheelbase platform use chassis parts and portal axle from G63 AMG 6×6 and G500 4×42.
Body length of Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is 5345 mm, width and height – 2110 and 2335 mm. SUV wheelbase reaches 3428 mm. Ground clearance is 450 mm.
Access to the interior is carried out using a sliding platform. Inside, there is room for four passengers – two individual rear seats resemble S-Class, supplemented with massage function on the principle of “hot rocks”.
The roof of the SUV can only be removed in the area of the second row of seats – driver and front passenger have to constantly be under the hard top. For folding cloth roof sections one click is enough. It is noteworthy that the rear passengers from the front row of seats separated by the glass like in stretch limo, but the glass opacity can be adjusted on demand.
Furthermore, for passengers sliding tables are provided with cup holders and a console in which a beverage can be cooled or heated. There are also two 10-inch screen multimedia system for rear passangers.
