Veloster is my first brand new car. I can’t but admire it. For the price you pay this Turbo model saves you a good deal of money. It’s much cheaper than Focus ST or WRX but gets you basically the same stuff. The engine isn’t that slow with 0 to 60 in about 6.7 seconds but its competitors are still stronger at this point. Nevertheless, I don’t mind. Fine for me. Six speed manual transmission with sport short shifter is smooth and satisfying. I manage around 32 MPG. The body gets rolled a little but bolsters on the bucket seats make you feel secure. Even though some people find Veloster exterior not that good, I love it. Sharp looking car which makes people break their neck looking at it. Heated seats are great as well as spacious cabin. It gives you plenty of headroom. However, backseat area is less spacious. I’m not that keen on use of cheap looking plastic on door handles still. Dashboard also has a cheap look. Sound system is fairly well. I’ve heard worse and I’ve heard better. What I like is a leather wrapped steering wheel which is a pleasure to touch. Definitely recommend this car to anyone!
