Will the 2016 Honda CRV offer blind side assist on the driver’s side? Nice on the passenger side but makes more sense to have it on the driver’s side

    • BANTOBACCONOW

Yes, they will continue that special device known as the OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR on the driver’s door. If you adjust it properly (meaning that it doesn’t show just the driver’s door), it will work just fine.

      • SlothB77

SUV’s have a blind spot. The CR-V’s blind spot isn’t as bad as the Nissan Rogue, but it is still worse than a sedan.

  • Joe Jehoich

If you’re referring to the Honda LaneWatch (the camera on the passenger side mirror), the driver side won’t have that feature because it’s not natural (or safe) to be turning left and looking at the screen (on your right hand side).

  • Timothy Best

How about a warning flash on the driver’s mirror like my wife’s VW Touareg?

My concern is the 2015 engine vibration issue, does Honda solve this problem yet ?

  • mike

I am also concerned about the engine vibration issue of the 2015’s. If nothing has been changed to correct this, Subaru Forrester, here we come.

    • Gail

Oh Mike, keep looking. You’ll take a HUGE hit on gas milage with the Subaru, and if comfort is a priority, pass! As a post-Forrester owner.. glad it’s gone.

    Will there
    be new colours

I wonder if the infotainment and bluetooth system will be more accommodating of android phones and/or devices. I have the 2014 CRV and all the ‘integration’ is geared to the iphone, so my pandora from my samsung galaxy doesn’t work as well with the 2014. I am also interested in knowing more about the pandora integration that has been mentioned. I also note that the voice commands for the phone via bluetooth don’t provide a ‘redial’ capability which seems to be a significant oversight. Also, for emergency calls there should be a function to dial 911 by just saying emergency or something like that. Finally, does anyone know where a customer can post comments and suggestions to Honda. There does not appear to be any capability for that on the honda owners site. Honda really needs to catch up with technology. Also, I notice that Chevy is advertising wifi in the car, it’s about time for that from Honda as well, and it should be able to be a software update rather than waiting for them to get around to it in a later model.

Does the CRV have a built in garage door opener yet? How about a collision avoidance radar/braking system? How about curb sensors or auto-parking? How about blind spot camera or side firing rear camera for when you are backing out in the parking lot? How about lane-minding for when you are drowsy on the freeway?

    • BANTOBACCONOW

How about being a RESPONSIBLE DRIVER!

    • lkcfree

comes in EX trim as homelink system

I love my 2013 CRV but wish it had a built in garage door opener available as an option. Is the garage opener available yet? I see they do now offer keyless ignition at least. Did Honda solve the 2015 vibration problem? If the answers to these questions are “yes” then I plan to trade in my 2013 on a 2016.

  • Peter

Just got the 2016 LX model. The Pandora system works good with android phones. Pandora is great as well. So far everything seems good. They did not skimp on the mats either like they did with my 2006 Civic Model. I got the armor tech mats standard throughout.

Does new model drive itself to package store and get me beer 6-pack?
