Main Trim Level Changes in Chevy Tahoe 2017

The first thing you may notice in the new LS model – the absence of trim badge in the interior. LS features 8-inch infotainment system, rearview camera, rear park assistant, remote engine start, three-zone automatic climate control. Interior features also include 10-way driver power seat, all-power accessories, cruise control. The SUV has total 10 airbags, including frontal, side-impact and curtain airbags. There are no changes between AWD and FWD except the drive layout.

The middle range trim of Tahoe traditionally called LT. It features power liftgate with a programmed angle and automatic high-beam headlights. The LT interior adds leather trimmed first and second-row seats, Bose premium sound system, heated front seats with memory function. Additional Enhanced Driver Alert package brings abovementioned automatic headlights, lane keep assistant, forward collision alert and safety alert for driver’s seat.

Premier features all accessories from LT and LS, and for 2017 model year the top trim level of Tahoe has become even more premium. What do we mean by that? Redesigned Tahoe 2017 Is All American

The new Tahoe really could be considered to be ‘All American’. The vehicle is huge, with a brutal and menacing look; the epitome of power. Although Chevrolet have kept changing the overall look of these models for the last four generations, they seem to have got it just right with this model. There have been some quite big changes to the appearance, not least of all, at the front; you’ll find twin headlights, divided horizontally, and they work beautifully with the restyled grille, which has followed the same styling and been split horizontally. It is the grille that really marks the difference between this and the previous model. The car is pretty much the same as the third gen model (the GMT900), but wrapped in a different body.

Chevy Tahoe 2017 Get Small But Distinct Changes

At first glance, the interior is the same as the outgoing model, but when you start looking closely, you’ll see quite a few changes; the center console is different and it’s been fitted with the next generation media systems with an 8” touchscreen, which makes it much easier to select music or even make a call. Sound quality is great. Plus you’ll find every type of socket for connectivity within the cabin, whether that is a phone, laptop or tablet and of course, power points; there are twelve in total, some of them delivering full 110V.

Chevrolet Tahoe 2017 Provide Safety First

The vehicle is fitted with lots of electronic safety equipment, the purpose of which is to monitor the driving conditions and help avoid collisions; blind-spot warnings, speed monitoring and lane guidance. If the system recognizes any breach in the safety (something approaching in the blind-spot for example), the driver’s seat starts to vibrate, giving a good indication. The whole system works very well, even more so when you consider that the vehicle is more agile after being put on a weight loss program. The cabin has had a general upgrade also; the materials used seem to be of higher quality and even the base model comes additional airbags, improved noise reduction and passenger entertainment systems.
