2017 Ford Focus interior
The interior hasn’t had that much work done, although they did add further refinement and comfort; comparing the 2017 model to the previous, the changes are obvious – it is just all round sportier.
The Ford Motor Co logo can be found throughout the interior, in subtle styling clues; highlighted blue in the dash and on the covers of the pedals and inserts for example.
The steering wheel has been designed to look and feel like a race car’s steering wheel, flat-bottomed for clearance and it suits the overall appearance of the car very well. Not only that, but it is coated with a genuine leather hide, meaning that it gives a nice mixture of comfort and grip.
The center console will be familiar to anyone that has seen the previous model, although the engineers have added gauges for the oil temperature and pressure, giving yet more credence to the sporty nature of the car.
The HVAC and multimedia system are the same as fitted to the older version.

2017 Ford Focus engines
The new 2017 Focus will have a number of different power options, including a hybrid setup using an electric motor and three-cylinder petrol engine with a turbo, power figures show that it will have 150 BHP.
The standard engine for all Focuses is 2.0L Ti-GDI I4 engine, producing around 160 HP. 2017 Ford Focus mpg rating (EPA estimated) with this engine is 25 in city and 34 in highway driving.
Thanks to the 50Kg (110 lbs) weight loss, the car will feel sportier as well. It is also believed that there will be an all-wheel drive option that can be fitted, as used by the Focus RS hot-hatch.
2017 Ford Focus RS
The new RS special edition Ford Focus will have AWD layout and be quite sophisticated in engineering terms: 2.3L EcoBoost engine producing a phenomenal 350 HP and the same amount of torque. But that’s not the end of it; it’s a real sportscar with huge Brembo brakes, retuned suspension with shock absorbers controlled by electronics.
In the 2017 Ford Focus RS interior you will find Recaro seats, sporty steering wheel and RS badges. It is a true hot-hatch killer and has only a few parts in common with ordinary Focus.
